Practical information

  • Please note that we have a minimum stay of two nights. Also note that you cannot check in at the lodge if you have any symptoms of respiratory infection. This is due to the strict hygiene requirements as a consequence of the Covid-19 situation.

  • Check in is at 15.00 and check out at 11.00

  • Breakfast is served 8-10.00 am

  • Please pre-order your dinner when making your reservation, and 48h ahead at the latest. We really don't like to throw away any food, so our meals are planned according to the number of pre-bookings. Dinner is served around 19.30, but you are more than welcome to come a bit earlier if you wish to enjoy an aperitif. Note that we unfortunately don't accept drop-in dining/drinks this year as we only have the staff capacity to serve our resident guests.

  • You are welcome to bring your dog, and we do not charge any extra for your best friend, but we do appreciate if you could play as much outdoors as possible. We have a dog ourselves, her name is Frøya and she loves a cuddle.

  • Our vision for Hardanger fjord lodge is to offer a "charging point" for adults hence the lodge is not suitable for children under 10 years.

  • There is a sauna by the fjord available for all our guests, so bring your swimwear.

  • Using our SUP boards and canoe is complimentary when staying with us.
